 Visiting Portugal with an Australian Passport?

• Passport renewals - must have valid Portuguese ID (Cartao de Cidadao or  Bilhete de Identidade). 

• Powers of attorney/Procuracoes

• Birth Certificates for non-Australian minors

• Emergencies

• Cartao de Cidadao - new or renewal? only during Permananencias Consulares  - bookings for  late March  2026 will open in early March 2026 on this site.

 as in the mornings we are looking after  those with appointments!​
